About our mission
At Everyone Can Move Inc., our mission is to create an inclusive and accessible environment where individuals of all abilities have the opportunity to move their bodies.
We personally believe movement is for everyone and that every person receives the welcoming, value, and empowerment they deserve during activities that bring them joy.
By providing opportunities for inclusive movement, dance, recreational activities, games, and even through education, we are working to break down the barriers and promote accessibility in movement.
As an organization we strive to build confidence, foster connection, and create a healthy and positive environment for people to express themselves.
.
We are committed to creating a community that celebrates differences, embraces individuality, and ensures no one is left on the sidelines.

Why

Dance has always been part of my life. I just grew up dancing, and it was more than just movement for me. It was confidence, expression and a place where I felt understood.
When I got to college, I wanted to dance again, but I also felt this pull to do more with it. As a psychology and criminology major, I spend a lot of time leaning about mental health, trauma, and how important safe, supportive spaces are for kids. That's when it clicked.
I didn't just want to dance for myself. I wanted to bring dance to more people, especially kids who may not always feel included or seen. I wanted to connect movement with mental health, confidence, and community.
That's why I started this. To create a space where dance isn't about feeling strong, creative, and supported. Everyone deserves the chance to move, express themselves, and belong.
